Send your list
Type it however it comes out. "bhai 2 kilo besan, ek packet doodh aur thoda dhaniya" works. So does a neat English list, or Gujarati, or a mix of all three.
Tokri is a grocery assistant that lives in WhatsApp. Send your list the way you'd text family — in Hindi, Gujarati, Tamil, Hinglish or English. It remembers the brands and pack sizes you actually buy, and never orders anything you haven't confirmed.
No app to install. No card details, ever.
How it works
No menus, no browsing, no thirty taps through a grocery app to rebuild the same basket you built last week.
Type it however it comes out. "bhai 2 kilo besan, ek packet doodh aur thoda dhaniya" works. So does a neat English list, or Gujarati, or a mix of all three.
Tokri fills in the brand and pack size you normally pick, and sends back every line with the real price and total. Change anything you like.
It shows your delivery address and payment method one last time. Only after you tap confirm does anything get ordered.
What it looks like
Mixed scripts, half-sentences, "the usual", things you forgot to mention as items — the messy way real people text a grocery list. Tokri replies in the language you wrote in, and always shows the catalogue name next to your word, so nothing gets swapped for something you didn't mean.
Languages
Tokri resolves your word to the right product, whatever script it arrives in — and shows you both, so you can see exactly what it understood.
Safety
An assistant that spends your money has to be boring about safety. These are enforced in code, not by asking the model nicely.
Every order needs you to confirm the items, the address and the payment method in the moment. There are no scheduled orders and no automatic reordering.
Right before ordering, Tokri re-reads the live cart and compares it to what you confirmed. If a single item or quantity differs, it stops and shows you the difference instead of ordering.
Payment happens on the grocery platform's own rails. Tokri never collects, holds or transmits payment details, and will refuse a message containing them.
Say "forget besan" to drop one preference or "delete everything" to wipe your history and disconnect your account. It happens immediately, not on a queue.
Tokri is not Zepto, Swiggy or Blinkit, and is not affiliated with them. You connect your own account, on their own login page, and can disconnect any time.
Questions
It builds and places orders on Zepto, for households in areas Zepto serves. You send a list, it resolves each item to a specific product, shows you the cart with real prices, and places the order after you confirm. Cash on delivery and Zepto Cash are supported in the pilot. Support for Swiggy Instamart is planned next.
No. Tokri is a WhatsApp number. You message it the way you message anyone else. Connecting your grocery account is a one-time step that happens on that platform's own login page.
It learns from what you actually order. After you place an order, it records the exact product, brand and pack size for each item — so the next time you type "besan" it knows you mean Rajdhani 1 kg, not any of the forty other options. It never learns from a cart you cancelled or an item you rejected.
You see the full cart with every brand, pack size, quantity and price before anything is ordered. Change any line by replying in plain language. Nothing reaches checkout until you confirm, and even then the cart is verified against what you approved.
No. Your messages are used to build your order and to remember the preferences you ask it to remember, and for nothing else. Preference memory is opt-in, and you can wipe everything with one message.
The pilot is free. You pay the grocery platform for your groceries exactly as you would in their app — Tokri does not mark up prices, take a cut of your basket, or handle your money.
Send a "hi" on WhatsApp. It'll explain itself in one message, and you can stop any time by replying "stop".
